An Electronic Cigarette is an personal vaporizer. Its a device that imitates the alternative. They come in all different shapes and sizes, and allow the user to vape whenever and wherever without regulation. The Electronic Cigarette is composed of 3 parts; a battery, an atomizer, and a cartridge/mouthpiece. When a user takes a puff/inhale of the personal vaporizer, the lithium ion rechargeable battery powers on the atomizer. At this point, the atomizer pulls the liquid from the cartridge to produce this vapor. The nicotine is then absorbed into the blood stream through the lungs and mouth providing almost instant relief from those pesky cravings.

Three main ingredients make up this liquid (what some like to call e-Liquid). They consist of:
- Water: Cant survive without it. Its that substance you see covering 70+ percent of the earth
- PG (Propylene Glycol): Considered generally food safe by the FDA (Food and Drug Administration) Its mainly used in flavoring extracts but can also be found in medicines, cosmetics, hand soap, etc?
- Some Include Nicotine: Need I say more? I could go on for hours. The fact remains, NICOTINE IS ADDICTIVE.

Some retailers claim that a single cartridge is equal to 30-40 traditional tobacco cigarettes (one to one and a half packs). This is simply false advertising and not true. Reality, and what we have found from our own personal experience is this:
- 401 e-Cig = 10 to 15 Traditional Cigarettes
- 301 e-Cig = 5-7 Traditional Cigarettes
- 510 e-Cig = 5-7 Traditional Cigarettes
- 701 e-Cigar = 1 Traditional Cigar

Technically, YES! Electronic Cigarette do NOT fall under any tobacco smoking ban. Some places are more accepting than others. Some bars, restaurants, etc? are already allowing their patrons to use these devices. HOWEVER, this is at the determination and approval of the actual business establishment you are trying to Vape at

This is probably the #1 question I get day in, and day out. The short answer is, a Electronic Cigarette is NOT advertised/marketed as a smoking cessation (quitting) device. There have been ZERO studies done on the success/failure rate of those who choose to try and quit smoking via personal vaporizers, therefore, at this time, it is only being marketed as a traditional tobacco cigarette alternative. Now, this doesn?t mean its impossible to quit. Anything and Everything is possible, and perhaps there are people out there reading this who have quit! Some users have even reported having no desire to smoke traditional tobacco cigarettes after they had adapted to Electronic Cigarette. In the end, its the user, not the device, who chooses to quit.

NO! First and foremost, Personal Vaporizers are intended for ADULTS only. Personal Vaporizers are not to be used by anyone under the legal smoking age of the state they reside in. Some states that age is 18, others the age is 21.
Other Groups that should consult a physician before use Included (but are not limited to):
- Those who suffer from heart disease or high blood pressure.
- Pregnant, nursing, or those thinking of becoming pregnant.
- Those allergic to nicotine or other PG based products

As of December 2009, the US Food and Drug Administration has not done a full blown study outlining the full impacts of e-Smoking; several other countries have conducted studies.
Clinical trials have now been carried out in New Zealand by Dr Murray Laugeson of Health New Zealand.
The test found that the E-Cigarette was:
"...very safe relative to cigarettes, and also safe in absolute terms on all measurements we have applied. Using micro-electronics it vaporizes, separately for each puff, very small quantities of nicotine dissolved in propylene glycol, two small well-known molecules with excellent safety profiles, – into a fine aerosol. Each puff contains one third to one half the nicotine in a tobacco cigarette’s puff. The cartridge liquid is tobacco-free and no combustion occurs."

Further research into electronic cigarettes continues to be carried out in New Zealand.

E-Cigarettes have never been proven to be a smoking cessation device and is not sold or marketed as such. E-Cigarettes are simply an alternative to smoking that offers freedom to smoke anywhere(while respecting others), no first or second hand smoke, virtually odor free and much cheaper than the cost of traditional smoking
